Life, Death, and Compassion: Education and Empowerment at the End of Life
On August 6, 2021 from 10:30 - 11:30am, Senator Persaud will be co-hosting a seminar along with Compassion & Choices Campaign Director Corinne Carey, which will focus on the education and empowerment at the end of life.
"America's Psychologist" & ordained Interfaith minister, Dr. Jeff Gardere and practicing Internal Medicine & Hospice Physician, Dr. Sonja Richmond will also be in attendance to share their take on Life, Death & Compassion.

Arlington for Justice and Black Parents of Arlington are hosting a womxn-only 5k walk and yoga event to honor and celebrate Black women on the anniversary of Breonna Taylor's death. Hear from some of the organizers and some of our highlighted partners in the fight for racial justice." This episode will feature Amanda Lukoff, AJ Tabler, and Dr. Sonja Richmond.
"Let's Talk" engages and activates Arlingtonians to respond to racial inequities in our community. Community members can ask any questions they like on the Facebook livestream.
